FAQ

Straight answers.

What do your services cost?

Our fees are competitive by design, so sellers keep more of the equity they've built. We'll walk you through exact costs on your first call, with no surprises later.

Do you represent buyers?

Yes. Buyers get their own advisor, so you know exactly what you're buying and what to watch for.

Why are your appraisals different?

We look past the headline numbers to the goodwill behind them, and we assess it the same way, at the same depth, every time. We won't inflate a number to win your business.

Where do you work?

Across Canada. We're Canadian-owned and operated, and we go where our clients are.

How do you value a practice?

We start with the financials, then go deep on goodwill, which is where the real value lives: your patient base and the revenue it generates, insurance mix, no-shows and cancellations, your team, and your reputation. Same factors, same depth, every time. More on valuation →

What is adjusted EBITDA?

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, adjusted for a new owner: personal and one-time costs are added back, and the owner's dentistry is priced at a market associate rate. It's a useful health check that banks rely on, but firms calculate it differently, so always ask to see each add-back. It's one input, not the whole value.

What do I need for an appraisal?

Three years of financial statements, production and collection reports, your lease, and an equipment list. We'll send a simple checklist.

Will my team find out I'm selling?

Not from us. Listings are anonymous and every buyer signs an NDA.

How do I get details on a listed practice?

Click "Request details" on the listing. We'll send an NDA for e-signature within one business day, then share the full profile once it's signed.

Do you only work with listed practices?

No. Many practices change hands privately before they're ever listed. Join the buyer list to hear about them first.

How do buyers finance a practice?

Most purchases are financed through banks with dental lending programs. We help you prepare the numbers lenders look for, so you go in knowing what you can afford.

I'm a new grad. Is it too early to talk?

No. The sooner you know what practices cost and how financing works, the better your options.
